Bengaluru: celebrations of 10th International Day of Yoga in a meaningful way, the Department of AYUSH has organized an innovative program called Mr.Dinrsh Gundu Rao Minister of Health Minister of karnatakara “Yogotasava” as a prelude to the Yoga Day with the aim of bringing the greatness of Yoga to the public. As a part of this Yogotsava, the departments of various associations and organizations have decided to organize various programs for 10 days from June-10 to 20 in collaboration with AYUSH Department” he said .

4) Department of Women and Child Development
“Nowadays yoga is practiced all over the world. Yoga, which has preventive, curative and sustenance values, is very helpful for stress management, diabetes control and other health related issues. Modern day yoga has made it easy for those who practice it.yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that has its routes mostly in India. The date of June 21 was suggested by as it is the longest day of the year in the in India and is highly important in many parts of the world. Last year, several students and teachers from performed yogic exercises at the on the occasion of International Day of Yoga.
Around 400000 people will celebrate Yogot by performing Rajavanta Yoga in these 4 Departments. Apart from this, information on healthy lifestyle and Ayush health check-up camps will be organized by Ayush department.
Along with this, yoga training, awareness about AYUSH doctors and AYUSH check-up camps will be conducted by the AYUSH Department at Bangalore Apartment Association, Jain University, Lulu Mall and Mall of Aesha.
