Good Microbiome, Probiotics and Good Health – The Evidence Gets Stronger”, a two-day 12th India Probiotic Symposium to be hosted by the Gut Microbiota and Probiotic Science Foundation (India) on March 5-6, 2022 with International and National experts sharing the latest science.

March, 2022, It is a known fact that gut health determines the overall health and immunity of everyone who is battling with modern day stress, malnutrition and various lifestyle disorders like diabetes, cancer, hypertension etc. With the on-going pandemic, the co-relation between the gut, its microbes and immunity has become even stronger and  tangible evidence is emerging to  demonstrate that the intrinsic health benefits of gut microbes are key to good health.

To share, deliberate, exchange views on these emerging evidences, the Gut Microbiota and Probiotic Science Foundation (India) is hosting a two day Symposium on March 5-6, 2022. The Symposium is aimed to bring together renowned doctors, scientists, leading medical professionals across geographies who will discuss a diverse range of findings  on the important role of the gut microbes in health and the benefit of Probiotics in different health conditions.

Eminent National and International doctors, Senior health professionals, academicians such as Prof. N.K. Ganguly Former Director General (ICMR), Dr. Naresh Trehan Chairman & Managing Director, Medanta, Dr. Padmakali Banerjee Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dean Academics, Amity University,Haryana, India, Mr. Arun Singhal CEO, Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Delhi , Dr. B. Sesikeran (Former Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad) will be participating in the Symposium.

A host of topics such as “Modulation of Gut Microbiome in COVID-19:  Emerging Evidence”, “Effect of L. paracasei strain Shirota Intake on the Stability of Gut Microbiota in the Elderly”, “Pediatric COVID -19 Vaccines – A Perspective”,  “Reducing Greenhouse Emission through Probiotics”, “Gut Microbiota in combatting Anti Microbial Resistance”, “Probiotics in Managing the Altered Gut in Autism Spectrum Disorder”, “Our Gut Microbiota as a Source of Novel Bacteria Beneficial for Human Health”, “Diabetes and Probiotics” will form part of the discussion  of the Symposium.
