AAP supports Justice H C Sandesh.

Justice H C Sandesh is getting threats for his remarks against ACB’s corruption. The State Legal team of AAP met Justice H C Sandesh and extended their moral support to him.

Speaking to the media, Nanjappa Kalegowda who is the president of AAP’s state legal cell said, “Threating a high court judge is dangerous development. The BJP government which thrives on kickbacks wants to carry out irregularities by keeping the High Court in its clutches. By putting pressure on the judges, they are dissolving the spirit of Constitution. We support Justice H C Sandesh who has become a victim to the Government’s dishonesty.”

Lakshmikanth Rao, who is the head of the Legal Cell said, “ACB which is supposed to safeguard the people and people’s money is actually protecting the corrupt. It is unfortunate for the state that Seemanth Kumar Singh, who has been accused of aiding and abetting the mining irregularities in Bellary, has become the ADGB of the ACB. ACB which is led by corrupt is now mired in corruption.”

Former KAS officer and AAP state spokesperson K Mathai said, ” The allegations made by Justice H C Sandesh should be taken seriously and an inquiry should be conducted, which shall be presided by the the Chief Justice of India. The names of Minister Ashwath Narayan and Yediyurappa’s son Vijayendra have been tagged in the allegations against ACB ADGP Seemant Kumar Singh and ADGP (Recruitment) Amrit Paul. The irregularities will be completely exposed only when the duo is interrogated.”

“Huge irregularities have also come to light in the process of appointment of scene of crime officers that took place during Amrit Paul’s tenure. There should be a thorough investigation into all the recruitment processes that took place during his tenure,” Mathai said.

Aam Aadmi Party leaders Diwakar, Mathai, Shashikumar, Ravichandra Nerabinchi, Gangadhar and others were present.
