Lucknow: Confident that the BJP has already crossed the 310-seat mark in the first five phases of the Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Congress will not get even 40 seats this time.”
Amit Shah, who held election campaign meetings in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Domariaganj and Ambedkar, attacked the opposition INDIA alliance.
“Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav boycotted the Ram Mandir inauguration program in Ayodhya fearing that their vote bank would be lost. Infiltrators are the vote bank of Congress and SP parties. The mindset of these parties is to compromise with the country’s security for political gains,” he criticized.
Home Minister Amit Shah has teased that after the results are announced on June 4, Rahul Gandhi will go on a ‘Congress search trip’. He also predicted that Rahul Gandhi will go on a ‘holiday’ on June 6.
