Bengaluru: The executive team led by the current president of the association, A. Amrit Raj, won the elections held on Sunday for the BBMP Corporation Officers and Employees Welfare Development Association.
Voting was held from 9 am to 4 pm at the Palake Central Office for the Board of Directors of line 2023-24. After the counting of votes, it was announced that the team led by Amrit Raj and KG Ravi had won.
35 people contested for 17 director posts of the association. Out of more than 2,600 voters, 2,245 voted. Out of these, 2,171 votes were from Sindh and the remaining 74 votes were from clans, the Returning Officer said.
Among these, A. Amrit Raj got the highest 1,892 votes. Like everything else
