He said, “We would not have been able to provide such a large grant if the Act had not been made in this regard.”
*Progressive Law*
Due to this act, it is possible to spend money according to the population. In the entire country only Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states have such a system of providing grants according to population. But there is no such progressive law anywhere else, he said.

The grant provided by us should be 100% cost in the same year. This grant should not be allowed to lapse for any reason. If for any reason the grant is not fully spent, the grant will continue for the next year. He said that everyone should put pressure to implement such an act at the center as well.

Congratulations to Honorable Chief Minister Siddaramaiah
Congratulations from our dalit organizations to the pro-constitutional egalitarian Hon’ble Chief Minister Siddaramayan for implementing the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Sub-Plan Act for the first time in the country. After the implementation of the said act in the state, various political parties in their last 9 years of rule have misappropriated crores of grant of Scheduled Schedulers for highways etc. according to Section 7D of the said Act. Mr. Siddaramaiah, who responded to the Dalit movement, has now canceled Section 7D and now the law is welcome to allocate the Scheduled Grants to the Scheduled. Manuwadi authorities inserted Section 7C in the said Act and the said grants are being abused to the people of other castes and other religions and we are campaigning to cancel the said Section 7C.
It should have been kept, but in the current budget, the Central Government has done injustice to the Scheduled Castes by allocating only 58 thousand crores to the Scheduled Castes.
