DK .SHIVAKUMAR DRIVES THE TWO-DAY SOUTH INDIA FESTIVAL

DCM DK Shivakumar inaugurated the two-day South Indian festival in Bangalore. Minister H.K. Patil,FKCCI President Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, Vice President Umareddy, Senior Vice President MG Balakrishna Director PC Rao, Festival Committee President K. Complementary tourism policy for investment

Bengaluru: He said that Stedec has prepared a construction plan and the tender will be called in a few days.  K. Patil said, “In collaboration with F KCCI, Rs 3,750 crore has flowed into the state during the Southern India Festival. 40 coastal sites have been identified for development as tourism destinations. There are more than 25,000 monuments in the state. Out of them, the government is preserving only 500 such places.  A special program has been prepared,” said Tourism Minister .”The state government is committed to the development of tourism, and soon the tourism policy will be modified and a new policy will be implemented to attract investors,” said Deputy Chief Minister D.K.  Shivakumara .

He was speaking on Saturday while inaugurating the two-day South India Utsav organized by the Karnataka Confederation of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) and the Tourism Department in collaboration.
