GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA APPROVAL TO START AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY IN MANDYA

Mandya: The MLAs of Mandya district, led by Agriculture Minister N. Chaluvarayaswamy, met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Krishna today and congratulated him on the government’s cabinet approval to start an agricultural university in Mandya and the waiver of Rs 52 crore of electricity bills that had been pending for the last 24 years by the state-owned Mysore Sugar Factory. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Govindaraj, Chief Secretary to the Government Shalini Rajneesh, MLAs Narendraswamy, Ramesh Bandisidde Gowda, Darshan Putdannaiah, Udaya Gowda, Ravi Shankar, Harish Gowda, Dinesh Gooli Gowda, Madhu Made Gowda, MySugar President Gangadhar and others were present.
