HOMBE GOWDA COLLEGE CELEBRATES FOUNDERS DAY

Bengaluru : Hombe Gowda college held a resplendent celebration on July 1, 2024, to commemorate its founder, Hombe Gowda college at wilson garden Bengaluru, and to appreciate his vision and mission that led to the establishment of the school. Wilson Garden Education society( R) Founder’s Day Iis founded in 2007 BY Former CM H D Kumara Swamyand , SMT. Gangamma Sri Hombe Gowda School founded 5 decade ago an occasion to express gratitude and value the legacy and to rededicate ourselves to the principles and values the school stands on.

The celebrations started with prayers to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings at the Ganesha temple followed by the traditional tilak ceremony by the school captains. The Chairman was welcomed with an invocation song, followed by a heartfelt address by the students. He was taken by surprise when the primary school choir sang an exquisite founders song for him in his mother tongue.

Principal, Mrs Vinita,MA MED Mphil, felicitated the Chairman with best wishes and gratitude on behalf of the entire staff and student community. She made a commitment to strive with undoubting spirit, courage of conviction, and excellence for the upliftment of the school. This further ensued into a scintillating musical extravaganza by classical and Western dance groups of our students. The energy and vigor were palpable with a special piece for our beloved little angel, . The students welcomed the newest member of Gurukul family, Dr.Sharat Chandra,Renowed Scientist &President Wilson Garden school with their hearts full of warmth and love. It was indeed a day filled with joy, gratitude, and deep admiration as we honored the visionary who dedicated his life to the pursuit of education and enlightenment.
