New Delhi: Indian Railways, which is on the path of cutting-edge and ever-successful, has now taken another big step. Indian Railways has started a new train service that runs on hydrogen fuel without using electricity or diesel. This eco-friendly train will start trial service next month i.e. December.
It is a hydrogen powered train. This means that this train will run only through water and hot air. Specially, it will be zero carbon, which means it will be a completely eco-friendly train. Apart from this, compared to diesel engine, 60% less noise. So there is no worry of noise pollution in this train.
Ministry of Railways has decided to start 35 hydrogen train services across the country in the first phase. 140 km per hour. This train which will travel at high speed can cover a thousand km once it is filled with hydrogen fuel. Will travel far.
