industrial laws in order to promote ease of doing business in the State and increase the flow of investments.

The latest decision of the cabinet to amend the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act 2002, to allow industries to set up without obtaining immediate clearances from multiple departments on the approval of the HLCC or the Single Window Agency is indeed a good step in the direction of making things easy for the industry to do business. The Industries are now allowed to obtain these clearances in a period of 3 years from the individual and specific departments which will help in implementing projects without undue delay and result in productive investments and creation of employment in the State.

KASSIA would like to particularly thank the Government the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Minister of Industry on these steps which we believe will gradually transform the industrial environment in the State for good.
