Flo Bangalore is all set to host the national conclave for the members of FICCI Ladies Organisation from 18 chapters across India in Bangalore and Hampi from 2nd to 5th Dec. The delegation will be in Bangalore on the 2nd of December and travel to UNESCO heritage site, Hampi on the 3rd,4th and 5th of December.
FICCI FLO is one of India’s premier organisations of women entrepreneurs and the three-day event will be the right platform for the members to network and learn through various industry, cultural and heritage sessions.
Over the past few years, the Flo Interstate meets have come to symbolise a melting pot of our rich Indian heritage- a unique tapestry of our states’ languages, traditions, culture, and scientific and literary achievements. The Bangalore meet is a unique showcasing of our culture, crafts and charisma.
FICCI FLO Bangalore Chapter is dedicated to promoting art and textiles, thus introducing weavers from across states under the name of Vastram. This event will have our traditional and vibrant textiles on display, with artisans showcasing Chikankari, Kalamkari, Shibori, Ikat, Maheshwari, Kale Nele, Handloom silks, leather puppets, and cotton printed fabrics. FLO Bazaar and Vastram is a designer collective exhibition, featuring the best in traditional crafts and weaves.
Gala Dinner and cultural event
A gala evening at Bangalore Palace on the 2nd December from 6 p.m. will begin with the tenth-year celebration, an address by the President of FICCI FLO, Mrs. Ujjwala Singhania and the Chairperson of FLO Bangalore, Revathi Raju. The entertainment for the evening is a star-studded show by Gaurang Shah, Shuba Mudgal and Sufi performers, followed by an elaborate dinner.
Sambhrama – the interstate meet features industry visits to WIPRO, ISRO and Jindal, heritage tours to the UNESCO site Hampi and also a congregate at the Bangalore palace for a tete a tete with the Maharani of Mysore, Pramoda Devi-Wadiyar.
This will be a memorable opportunity for the members of FICCI FLO from across India to share ideas, opportunities and most importantly forge friendships for a lifetime.
