NEET-UG question paper leak mastermind Ravi Atri arrested: Committee formed for NTA reform
While the NEET-UG question paper leak scam has created a huge controversy, Ravi Atri, who is said to be the mastermind behind the scam, has been arrested. A search is on for the accused who distributed the question paper to the students in the hostel. Meanwhile, a high-level committee has been constituted for operational improvement of NTA.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) on Saturday arrested Ravi Atri, the alleged mastermind of the NEET-UG 2024 exam question paper leak scam. The arrested accused is a resident of Neemka village in Greater Noida.
He weaved a web that questioned the very propriety of NEET, the most competitive examination for medical education in India. His network was called ‘Solver Gang’. His gang is said to be uploading question papers with answers on social media platforms.
The Bihar police had initially arrested a few people in connection with the newspaper leak. Among them were the student and his associates. Later, he extended his investigation beyond the borders of the state. Ravi Atri’s name came to light during the interrogation.
In 2007, Atri’s family sent him to Kota, Rajasthan to train for the medical entrance exam. He cleared the NEET exam in 2012. Got admission in PGI Rohtak. But he did not appear for the fourth year examination.
From there he came in contact with the ‘examination mafia’ and was appearing for the examination under the name of other candidates. He was also involved in the leakage of question papers and played an important role in distributing them among the students, officials said.
