‘Skill Development Hub’ is the goal of the state 

Bengaluru: The state government is systematically formulating plans to create jobs in the state. Our goal is to make the state a skill development hub,” said Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Minister Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil.

Speaking while inaugurating the Industry-Education Conference of the Government Toolbox and Training Centre (GTTC) on Friday, he said, “The Industry-Education Conference has been organized to provide skill training to women and students from rural areas. This is a huge platform to reduce the gap between educational and professional institutions and industries. We have come forward to promote collaboration, partnership, innovation and skill development to meet the demands in the employment sector,” he said.  sor cheese, of nowo: “‘Locally, Work Globally’ is the basic mantra of our government. Our government is preparing to set up GTTC in many parts of the state. It is a matter of pride that GTCC is preparing students to participate in 18 skill categories for the upcoming India Skills-2025 competitions and World Skills Competition-2026. Our state will be ready to compete at the global level.” He said. Preparations underway for the hub :Several agreements signed to increase the skill strength in the state.

Preparations to set up a skill academy in Sandur, Bellary at a cost of Rs. 300 crore for the creation of skilled employees. GTTC skill development centers to be set up in Kalaburagi (in partnership with Gulbarga University), Talakal, Koppal and Varuna, Mysore in collaboration with Visvesvaraya University. Skill-based training will be provided to the youth group all over the state. In the field of information technology – Agreement with Intel, IBM, NASSCOM, Tesla for training. Agreement with Toyota, Siemens, Auto Desk, Mastercam in the field of mechanical, Agreement with GIZ in the field of green skills. In the field of education, IISc VTU, Gulbarga University, Aro EnnoEnnoIT, BNOMBTI for skill development training. GTTC Major Projects :New Diploma Programmes in 27 JTTC Centres Establishment of Technology Centres in the Aerospace and Electronics-Semiconductor Domain•

In collaboration with German Chamber of Commerce. There is a need for ‘skills’ not only in engineering but also in general courses. Today, artificial intelligence is making a lot of news. We  Need to change according to technology. –Dr. M.C. Sudhakar Higher Education Minister :Educational exchange program for Diploma and BE students German International Migration Center High-skill and re-skilling training projects Out of 1.3 million graduates in our country, 26% of them are employed. Furthermore, there is a 44% shortage of skilled workers in industries.
