New Delhi: While paying tribute to the President’s speech, Rahul Gandhi, in his maiden speech as the Leader of the Opposition, came under fire from the ruling party for making many controversial statements.
Rahul Gandhi, who last week alleged that his mic was deliberately muted, today (July 1) made another allegation against Speaker Om Birla. For the allegations against the Speaker, the BJP MP turned against the Congress party.
As many ideas were proposed by Rahul Gandhi in his speech, he hardly succeeded in taking any of the points to a logical conclusion. Instead, Union ministers and BJP leaders started lashing out at Rahul one by one.
In the middle of his speech, Rahul Gandhi also scolded Speaker Om Birla. “Speaker ji, when you meet the Prime Minister, you bow to him. When you meet me, you stand firm,” Rahul said in his speech.
