WHAT REALLY WON IN CHANNAPATNA WAS DK BROTHERS GROUND WORK ! WHAT IS IT ?

Ruling Congress sweeps Karnataka Assembly bypolls, setback to BJP-JD(S) alliance

Maharastra: BJP- 224, MVA : 45 Others: 19 Jharkhand India: 54 BJP:26 Others: 1

It is clear from the results that the controversial statements of Muda, Waliki, Waqf and Minister Jamir, who created a lot of noise in the by-election, did not have any impact on the voters.

This result has further strengthened Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s seat and has sent a message to both the opposition and his own party that it is not that easy to remove him from power.

Ramanagara has become completely free of JDS with the victory of former minister C.P. Yogeshwar in Channapatna, which witnessed a fight between Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. The Congress, which had won Ramanagara, Magadi and Kanakapura in the last assembly elections, has freed the entire district from JDS this time by winning Channapatna as well.

The Congress also won in Shiggaon, which was vacated by the resignation of former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, which is a serious embarrassment for Bommai himself and state BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra.

This election has also taught the right lesson to former minister Janardhana Reddy, who was overconfident that he would create new history in Sandur in Bellary, Gani district.

C.P. Yogeshwar, who had been leading since the beginning, won by a margin of 25,903 votes against NDA candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy when the final round of counting was over.

The winner C.P. Yogeshwar got 99,320 votes, while Nikhil Kumaraswamy got 73,417 votes, tasting a hat-trick of defeat. Yogeshwar is supported by voters in most of Channapatna city and rural areas. The JDS and BJP strategy, which was determined to win this constituency, has backfired.

The campaign by many leaders including former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition R. Ashok, and former Minister Ashwath Narayana has failed to bring Nikhil Kumaraswamy to the brink of victory.

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, who took the by-election seriously, had camped in the constituency six months ago and won the hearts of the voters. The strategy he used has worked.

Former CM Basavaraj Bommai has failed to retain the constituency he won in Shiggaon. Despite the opposition of many, he had given a ticket to his son Bharat Bommai. He tasted defeat in the very first election he faced.

Congress candidate Pathana Yasir Ahmed Khan got 88,985 votes, Bharat Bommai 74,860 votes. Bharat Bommai was leading initially. However, the Congress candidate continuously led from the sixth round and finally emerged victorious.

Congress candidate Annapurna has proved that this is a party stronghold by winning in Sandur. The organized struggle of Minister Santoshlad and MP E.V. Tukaram has led to the candidate’s victory.

The BJP’s strategy of trying to mobilize Lingayats and the Muda scam in the constituency has not worked. Winner Annapurna got 93051 votes, BJP candidate Bangaru Hanumanthu 83,843 votes, and the Congress candidate won by a margin of about 11,000 votes.

Even though Amethi gave way to Rahul, Wayanad held his hand!
BJP state president Vijayendra made a stop here and tried to field Bangaru Hanumanthu, who is also the state president of BJP ST Morcha, and win. Former minister Sriramalu was a strong aspirant from this constituency. Sriramalu’s active participation in the elections did not attract attention.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had campaigned in Sandur and Shiggaon constituencies many times. The people of Sandur said yes to the guarantee schemes by holding the hand of the Congress candidate. Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who was a member of parliament from Shiggaon, had resigned from Shiggaon constituency after becoming a member of parliament. The BJP fielded Bommai’s son Bharat for the vacant seat.

There was a fierce competition for the ticket in the Congress between Yasir Khan Pathan and Ajjampir Qadri. Ajjampir Qadri had called Congress’ official candidate Pathan a rowdy sheeter for not getting a ticket. Despite all this criticism and sarcasm, it is surprising that Congress has taken the lead. Overall, the results from the three constituencies have increased the strength of Congress in the state.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in her election debut, is set to outperform her brother Rahul Gandhi by leaps and bounds as she took a lead by a margin of over 4 lakh votes in.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the trust you have placed in me. I will make sure that over time, you truly feel this victory has been your victory and the person you chose to represent you understands your hopes and dreams and fights for you as one of your own. I look forward to being your voice in Parliament,” Priyanka Gandhi tweeted.

C.P. Yogeshwar secures political future

Bengaluru, Nov. 24 – Congress candidate C.P. Yogeshwar has secured his political future by winning the by-election to the Channapatna assembly constituency, which is known for its fierce political struggle and has aroused intense curiosity. NDA candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy was defeated, and the NDA alliance suffered a major setback by losing the election for the third time. The election results of this constituency were portrayed as a battle between Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.

The results of the 2024 Channapatna by-election have been out. Congress candidate CP Yogeshwar has won. On the surface, it seemed like a fight between CPY and Nikhil Kumaraswamy, but indirectly, it was a prestige battle for HDK and DKSH. More than campaigning here, some of the strategies that DK Brothers had been working out in the constituency for a few months, including the Waqf riots that erupted during the election, have come to fruition.
Channapatna: The results of the Channapatna assembly constituency have been out. Congress candidate CP Yogeshwar has won. Nikhil Kumaraswamy, who was an alliance candidate from JDS-BJP, has lost. Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s father H.D. Kumaraswamy had won in the last election. Now that constituency has gone out of JDS’s hands and gone to Congress.
Vokkaliga community vote hunt
The first thing DK Brothers did was…. Even though the Vokkaliga vote was divided, the majority of the votes flowed towards the Congress. DK Brothers were successful in travelling around the constituency, meeting Vokkaliga leaders and taking them into their confidence. True… no public leader can control the entire community or ensure that a single vote of that community does not go elsewhere. However, their pride is that they managed to make at least half of the Vokkaliga votes go to the Congress due to their relentless efforts.
Earlier, when Kumaraswamy was an MLA, a house was built for Rs. 5001 crore. That project has not been completed yet. There were allegations that their distribution has not been completed even after 10 years. DK tried the same thing this time, promising houses and plots in Channapatna, identifying land for these projects and getting the help of the poor.
Relaunching housing projects
The second task was to revive or relaunch several projects that had fallen into disrepair in Channapatna taluk and try to attract the votes of the poor by giving them a new lease of life or a new lease of life. For this, DK Shivakumar, who held a series of programs called ‘Government to the doorstep in Channapatna, let there be cooperation’ and announced that he would distribute plots and houses to the deserving poor, identified 120 acres of land near Hanumanthanagar and Patlugram in addition to that. He prepared for the distribution of plots on 120 acres of government land on the outskirts of Channapatna. He promised to build a separate city by building temples and hospitals within a 5 km radius of Channapatna.
Although the Channapatna election was superficially an election between CP Yogeshwar and Nikhil Kumaraswamy, in essence it was a prestige battle for HDK and DK. HDK had made a big effort to hold this constituency. Meanwhile, DK Shi tried hard to take this constituency under his control. But, in the end, it was the ground work done by DK Shi and his brother DK Suresh that won. What did they do there?
Muslim vote attraction
The strongest voters in the constituency were the Vokkaligas. However, when both the candidates for the election were Vokkaligas (CP Yogeshwar and Nikhil Kumaraswamy), naturally the votes get divided. Then the Muslim voters were decisive. There, there are about 35 thousand Muslim votes. This time, the Congress was successful in combing all of them.
DK Brothers behind the Channapatna assembly results.
The work done in the constituency for a few months, the strategies followed are now bearing fruit.
The relaunch of house-plot projects, the way the Waqf dispute was handled… all these are fruitful.
