Invitation to leaders of South Asian countries to assume power as Prime Minister for the third term

New Delhi: NDA to form new government Sources said that it is almost certain that Narendra Modi will take oath as the Prime Minister for the third term on June 9 after a series of meetings held by the leaders.  But no official statement has come out from NDA and BJP on this issue.

Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third term in a kathyakrama to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, June 9 at 7 pm.  Sources said that the Presidents and Prime Ministers of South Asian countries will witness this historic austerity of Modi, who will equal the record of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.  Earlier it was said that the stage was set for Modi’s inauguration on June 8.

Invitation to dignitaries: Sri Lanka for the event

President Ranil Wickramasinghe, Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalavan, Bhutan Prime Minister Teshiring Togai, Mauritius Prime Minister Pavind Jugannath, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, Malmeems President Mohammad Muhammad Muijju, who recently clashed with India over the Lakshadweep issue, have also been invited.

Challenge of the Allies

It will be a challenging task for Modi to lead the 3.0 government as he has to wait for the approval of allies for the first time.  Allying parties in the cabinet should be given due opportunity and care should be taken to prevent resentment from flaring up.
