The state of emergency mentality is still alive in Congress: Prime Minister Modi harsh criticism
The Emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975 is condemned throughout the country every year. This time, the Congress party had spoken about protecting the Constitution during the Lok Sabha elections. On Monday too, there was a protest on the same issue. However, Prime Minister Modi reminded that it was the Congress that imposed the emergency.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the mentality of imposing emergency is still alive in the Congress party. The Prime Minister also said that the party which imposed Emergency across the country now has no right to show its inclination in favor of the Constitution.
This same party had repeatedly imposed Article 356 of the Constitution. This same party brought an act to destroy the freedom of the press in the country. He wanted to destroy the federal system of this country. Prime Minister Modi has lashed out that he had violated all the wishes of the Constitution.
