Ramanagara: Elections for President-Vice-President have not been held till now for Ramanagara and Channapatna municipal councils, which are the arena of ‘prestige and curiosity’ among the local bodies of the district.
After the by-election, Channapatna Municipal Assembly election is a battle of prestige, but there is a lot of curiosity about who will get the title of President-Vice-President in Ramanagara, the district headquarters. With the elections expected to be completed by the end of next week, the race for the coronation is fierce, even though the Congress has a clear majority in the two municipal councils.
