Bengaluru: The results of the Lok Sabha elections, which challenged the three political parties to demonstrate their prestige and strength, have come out. If the strength of the BJP has shrunk, the power of the Congress has increased.  It has also brought life to the Dalpatis who were in fear of losing their future.

The Congress, which had won more than 135 constituencies in the assembly elections held a year ago, was hoping to achieve a huge victory in this election as well.  Although the economy is not good, the ‘guarantees’ announced during the assembly elections have been implemented in the hope of achieving success in the Lok Sabha as well.

By-elections for 3 of the Legislative Assembly, 1 of the Upper House

Representing the assembly, H.D.  Kumaraswamy (Channapatna), Basavaraja Bommai (Shiggavi) and this.  Kota Srinivasa Pujari (Dakshina Kannada), who was elected by the local bodies for Tukaram (Sandur) and Parishad, won the Lok Sabha elections.  If he resigns from his membership, the by-election should be held within six months.  The state has to prepare for this election once again.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had taken the courage to do so, but the confidence of Congress leaders that the guarantees would give a landslide victory did not bear fruit as expected.  The BJP has suffered a severe setback in the entire country and the Congress has recovered.  In this case, the number of wins in Karnataka, where the Congress is in power, has increased.

Nothing to celebrate though.  The party managed to win 9 seats despite losing one seat it had won earlier.  The election results showed that people voted for the BJP and Prime Minister Modi wave rather than the charisma of the guarantee marla government.  Also, the shift from alliance with JDS to BJP .

The NDA, which is on the brink of winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, is almost certain to form a government at the center under the leadership of Modi once again. In that background Jr. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time in a row at around 6.30 pm on 8th. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held in front of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Modi took oath as Prime Minister in 2014 and 2019 in the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan. This time also there are chances of taking oath there. President Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath. Modi has already submitted his resignation as Prime Minister.

Jr. In the results of the Lok Sabha elections held on 1st, the BJP-led NDA coalition won 292 seats and has the required majority (272 seats) to form the government at the Centre. Ata, the Congress-led INDIA coalition, which won 234 seats, is trying to draw Nitish Kumar-led JDU in Bihar and Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desham Party in Andhra Pradesh.
