IIJNM Alumnus represents India at the Thomson Foundation Awards

IIJNM Alumnus, Kapil Kajal has been nominated for the Thomson Foundation Awards. He is the only one from India in the list of nominees.

Kapil is currently a correspondent with 101 Reporters, Bangalore and has been nominated for his story on Why Indian Housewives Are Killing Themselves, published by IndiaSpend. According to the foundation, “Kapil’s story challenged India’s mental health taboo and was republished by media outlets across the country.”
The winners of the Awards are to be announced this November.
